Burgundy in majesty
History, modernity and respect for the terroir: the house’s watchwords. Wines of great finesse that combine respect for the terroir with modernity. Combining the balance and finesse of Burgundy’s climates to extract the very best.
History
Léonce Bocquet acquired the estate at the end of the 19th century. At the time, he was the owner of the famous Clos de Vougeot. He asked Charles Suisse, the famous architect, to build the winery. The work lasted 8 years, and today Henri de Villamont produces great Burgundy wines harvested exclusively by hand from a number of climats on a wide variety of terroirs.
Vineyard
10 hectares owned, currently undergoing organic conversion, plus 4 hectares leased. Trading activity throughout the Burgundy region. Integrated farming policy applied to the entire vineyard.
Distribution
Export customers, who import with the aim of reselling to the finest restaurants in the hospitality sector, specialist wine merchants, private clubs, hotels and wine bars. Private customers, both local and foreign.
